Our commitment
Primova should be usable by everyone — keyboard-only, screen-reader, low-vision, or any combination. We aim for WCAG 2.1 AA conformance across the site and treat accessibility as a feature, not a checkbox.
What’s in place
- Semantic HTML throughout (headings, landmarks, lists).
- Keyboard navigation for every interactive element.
- Visible focus rings on all focusable controls.
- Color contrast ratios meet WCAG AA in both light and dark modes.
prefers-reduced-motionsupport — animations are disabled when the user has indicated a preference.- ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and other non-text controls.
- Alt text on meaningful images; decorative imagery is marked with
aria-hidden.
What we’re still improving
- Live-region announcements for tool processing states (e.g., upload progress, errors).
- Keyboard shortcuts for power users (currently ⌘K opens the search palette).
- Full screen-reader walkthroughs for each interactive tool.
Reporting an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us. Email hello@primova.app with as much detail as possible — the page, the issue, and what assistive technology you’re using. We respond within a couple of days.
