Stamp a text or logo watermark onto your images — in the corner, across the centre, or tiled over the whole image so it can’t be cropped out. Style it with a shadow, outline, or pill background, set the opacity and angle, and preview every change live before you export. It all runs in your browser.

How to use Image Watermarker

  1. 1Drop in the image you want to protect.
  2. 2Pick a starting preset, then choose a text or logo watermark.
  3. 3Style it — font, colour, shadow/outline/pill — and place it in a corner or tile it across the image.
  4. 4Adjust opacity and rotation, then apply and download.

Single placement vs. tiled

A corner watermark is clean and unobtrusive — good for a logo or a copyright line on work you’re showing off. But a single mark is trivial to crop off. Turn on “Tile across image” and the watermark repeats in a diagonal grid over the entire photo, so there’s no clean copy left to take. Tune the spacing and opacity until it protects the image without burying it.

This tiled, anti-crop mode is the feature most online watermarkers hide behind a paywall — here it’s free and previewed live.

Make it readable on any photo

Plain text disappears against busy backgrounds. The Shadow style adds a soft halo so light text stays legible on bright areas; Outline draws a contrasting stroke around each letter; and Pill puts the text on a solid rounded chip. For brand marks, switch to an image watermark and drop in a transparent PNG logo — its size scales with the photo so the same setting looks right on every resolution.

Frequently asked questions

No. The watermark is composited onto your image in your browser with canvas — the photo and your logo never leave your device.
Yes — turn on “Tile across image” and the watermark repeats diagonally across the whole photo, so cropping can’t remove it cleanly. You control the spacing and opacity.
Yes. Switch to the Image watermark type and upload a logo — a transparent PNG works best. Set its width as a percentage of the photo and position or tile it like any other watermark.
Use the Shadow, Outline, or Pill style. Shadow adds a halo, Outline strokes each glyph, and Pill puts the text on a solid rounded background — all designed to stay legible on any image.
Only the area under the watermark changes; the rest of the image is re-encoded at high quality (0.92 by default), so the result looks essentially identical to the original.
